Detail: Rainbow Moonstone, also known as White Labradorite, is actually a translucent white stone that features occasional iridescent or multicolored (especially blue) flashes with transparency that ranges from opaque to semitranslucent, caused by light diffraction within layers of feldspar. It is best seen in natural light for play of colour.
